A (Mini) Milestone: Look what arrived in the mail today...my first official performance award in my new career! Actually, my biggest satisfaction comes from helping people protect the things they value most...and saving them money whenever I can. But still, it sure is nice to receive recognition for ones work. And it was especially uplifting because it arrived on one of those days, when things werent going so well. Im sure I will never earn as many plaques as Michael Hisle has during his illustrious 22-year career in this industry. (Hes got a whole wall full!) But still, it is really gratifying to have something tangible that validates this: I must be doing something right! Any measure of success I achieve is owed in large part to others. I am indebted to My Michael and to other mentors who have tolerated my endless streams of questions. Thank you, sweetheart, for supporting me in every sense of the word -- and for putting up with being left home alone while I worked long hours. I also am grateful to my friends on FB and in real life who have encouraged me and especially to those who have entrusted me to become their new agent!
