A Mum asks: Am not sure what to do. Daughter is 2 and goes to a playgroup two mornings a week. I dont work so she doesnt have to go. But shes an only child and I thought the interacting with toddlers would be good. However its a big group of 12 toddlers. Most of the time its pushing, biting, hair-pulling and constant crying. I am a volunteer mum so i see what goes on and i spend a lot if time pulling them apart. My daughter gets quite anxious there and i am wondering if she is getting much out of it. She does other activities during the week which are not violent environments. I often feel like they are just too young to be in such big groups. But am i taking away her social life if we stop going? Realy not sure what to do.
