A. N. via pm - Hi Ms. Marlene. I just want to tell you that youre a great mother and all mothers should strive to be like you. Your sons and daughter are so lucky to have you. Unfortunately my mother is obsessed with money and religion, always reading the bible and praying out loud but treats our household helper like shit. Of course I have learned to stop complaining. Life gave me a wonderful father and surely (as you have mentioned several times in your Facebook posts) this is teaching me a valuable lesson. Im not surprised why so many people are drawn to you. Even I read your Facebook posts from time to time whenever I feel down. That way, youve helped me deal with my own problems in life. Thank you. Me - I really am so sorry you live with a mother like that. People like that live in darkness. They are very unhappy because they have imprisoned their minds and spirits in a very small box. She is in a very unhappy place. Therefore, she will make those around her miserable as well. You are very fortunate to see that difference between your parents. Sorry to say this but I guess this is one positive outcome of what happened to Jason: many people (Im one of them) got to know you. Me - Your words put me to tears. But I agree with you.
