A NATION UNDER ATTACK Our nation is at war with an unfamiliar enemy.We are fighting an enemy that is well coordinated,deliberate in operation,strategic in implementation,yet not in uniform.We are at war with an enemy that is not confrontational, but like the Ziklag expedition,they go by stealth to abduct children, women-our weakest links.They attack us when our backs are turned.To them there are no rules of engagement;the war we are fighting has no governing laws and follows no convention.We cannot be so blind not to know that the mastermind of this evil is Satan whose chief instrument is fear and terror. In times of peace the Bible says prepare for war.As a nation we never prepared for this.While leaders were busy politicizing on the destiny of millions of people, we left undone the chief work of security of life and property.Our technology is not obsolete, it is just nonexistent.Now they have built beautiful houses and laughing like Sarah did when Isaac was born.Unfortunately Isaac and Ishmael are just not compatible under same roof.Now the son of the bond woman has become a terrorist,threating the joy and the freedom of the free woman and her son. Somehow we have assumed the spectator status in this whole shebang.A very dangerous position as the light of the world.The night before the Nyanya second bomb attack by terrorist. I had a dream about a possible attacked that was foiled because believers like you and I decided to intervene.I discovered that as we prayed, specific insights were given to security details as to where the enemy planned to attack.When there was no CCTV,Elisha provided the king of Israel intelligence that frustrated the Syrian government.Beloved,now we can’t stand idle anymore.We can pray,sensitize an educate ourselves to be more watchful.It was Martin Luther king Jnr who said‘In the end,we will not remember the words of our enemies,but the silence of our friends’ .
