A Nice Weekend in Store for the Carolinas... The weather will be very cooperative for outdoor plans this weekend with mostly sunny skies. With surface high pressure dominating the pattern temperatures will be quite cool in the mornings but should recover nicely during the afternoon Saturday and especially Sunday. The Weekend Forecast... Mountains. Saturday... Sunny with lows in the morning 23-28. Highs in the low to mid 50s (45-50 higher elevations). Saturday Night...Clear skies with lows ranging from 27-33. Sunday...Sunny once again with temperature warming nicely from 55 to around 60 degrees. NC Foothills / Piedmont. Saturday... Sunny with morning lows 26-30 and afternoon highs mid to upper 50s. Saturday Night... Mostly clear skies will be the rule. It will be cool again with temperatures falling to 30-35. Sunday...Sunny skies with temperatures quickly warming to 60-65. NC Coastal Plain. Saturday... Sunny with lows in the morning 28-32 (35-40 near the coast). Afternoon highs 54-58. Saturday Night... Mostly clear with lows from 30 to 35. Near 40 near the coast. Sunday... Mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 50s north to upper 50s and low 60s south. SC Upstate. Saturday... Sunny with lows in the morning in the upper 20s to low 30s. Highs from 57-62 degrees. Saturday Night... Mostly clear skies with lows ranging from 30 to 35. Sunday Sunny. Highs will warm to 60-65. SC Midlands. Saturday... Sunny with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. Afternoon highs recovering to the upper 50s to low 60s. Saturday Night...Mostly clear with lows dropping to the 31-36 range. Sunday...Mostly sunny skies prevail with highs warming to the low to mid 60s. SC Lowcountry. Saturday... Sunny with morning lows 30-35 (upper 30s to around 40 near coastal areas). Highs in the 59-64 degree range. Saturday Night...Mostly clear with temperatures generally in the mid 30s for lows inland and around 40 near the beaches. Sunday...Mostly sunny skies with temperatures warming into the 61-66 degree range. Looking ahead to next weekend its looking somewhat unsettled across the area with a storm system likely affecting the region with clouds and precipitation.
