A PERSONAL STATEMENT BY THE HEALTH MINISTER Health Minister David Anderson MHK made a personal statement in Tynwald Court. In that statement he said reference the letter released by Liberal Vannin Party, which included a letter from the Care Quality Commission Chief Executive saying that the C.E. had had discussion with our Health Minister. Mr Anderson said he had had no contact or conversation with the C.E. He also said re the Letter from a Nobles Hospital Consultant that he , Health Minister, had mislead Tynwald. Mr Anderson has asked the Standards Committee to investigate these matters and if he is found to be wrong he will step down as Health Minister. Dear Mrs Beecroft Thank you for your letter dated.25 May_2013.- I met with the Health Minister for the Isle of Man last year and we briefly discussed the possibility of conducting an independent audit. I would be happy to consider the possibility of undertaking this work, but my Private Office has yet to receive a formal request outlining the details of these proposals.
