A Poem By My Brother inlaw Chris Howard: Heavens Grocery Store- Im walking down lifes highway, a long , long time ago. One day I saw a sign that read Heavens Grocery Store As I got a little closer, that door came open wide and when I came to myself, I was standing right inside. I saw a host of Angels they were standing everywhere. One handed me a basket and said, My Child, go shop with care Everything that a Christian needed was in that grocery store and all you couldnt carry, you could come back for more. First I got some patience, and love was in that row- further down was understanding; needed everywhere you go, I got a box of wisdom, a bag or two of faith and I didnt miss the Holy Ghost. It was every place. I got some strength and courage to help me run the race. My basket was getting full but still I added grace, I didnt forget salvation and found that it was free so I tried to get enough of that to save both you and me. then I started to the counter, to pay my Grocery Bill for I thought that I had everything to do my Masters will on the way I saw some prayer, and had to put lots in I knew that once I stopped outside that Id run into sin. Power and Joy were plentiful sitting on thier shelf, songs and praises were hanging so I helped myself. Then I said to the Angel, now how much do I owe ? He just smiled and said, Take them everywhere you go. I looked at him again, but whats the price I owe He told me Jesus paid my bill a long time ago. God Bless You Brother Chris Howard of Asheville, Nc
