A Poem by THOR GARY Lion in my Heart: I will be the Lion in my heart that feeds on the Lamb in my skull. I will be the Lion in my heart, not the Jackal of my corpse. Doubt & Desire are my Achilles heel Love will conquer all my doubt My imperfection that is easily seen by those devoid of sin The decay and corruption of their sin If they might only see where I have been I will win the War in my head, one battle at a time The outside of a man is just a shell of what is on the inside. You can plant love, passion, trust, empathy, and honor. You can plant hate, mistrust, dishonor, jealousy and greed What is your preference on what bloom’s in the fields of your youth We all have intentions in life good or bad? I would rather temporally hurt a person with the truth then kill our friendship with a lie! I will be there to hold you when I tell you the truth. You can not fix trust and loyalty that has cost you love. I will be the Lion in my heart, not the Jackal of my body. Fear is the mind killer I will be by you side through all your adversity I will prove my significance to me and you The true question of a good man Can he be strong when he is weak We all have a flame that burns in us light or dark the question is what fuel will you feed your flame.
