A Prayer for a Christian on their Birthday Father God I come before you on behalf of a follower whom is celebrating a Birthday, as another year has passed and they are looking back at their blessings. Ecclesiastes 3: 1-4 To everything there is a season, A time for every person under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh. Father God we as followers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are passing through life having acquired memories of trials and blessings. Our hope is that we have been in our Heavenly Father’s will; as there has been an awareness of the Holy Spirit directing our path. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gave all; so that we may celebrate this day of our birth; knowing that we also have been born again into His kingdom. Looking back over this past year we surely have been blessed. Father God we pray if it be Your will; and if be on this same day next year, that there is another day of celebration; may we again look back on a year of having followed the footsteps that our Heavenly Father has placed before each of us. Praise be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit for providing and sharing these birthdays with each of us. Amen Marvin R. McKim
