A Prayer for a Farmer and his Family Father God I come on behalf of the Family Farmer; as they consist of multitudes of nationalities; scattered thru-out the world and driven to plant seeds and to water and care for those seeds that they plant. They then harvest and provide basic nourishments that are required for those whom are hungry and thirsty. Father there is corporations who farm only for profit and money; and then there are Family Farmers who are faithful; as they are blessed with an inner knowledge in knowing they provide blessings for many. They watch over the Orange Groves in Florida; the Wheat Fields across the high plains of Canada; or the Corn Crops that waver in the wind on a Kansas flatland. A farmer is present to harvest an abundance of lettuce, tomatoes and other crops grown on a rich farmland within a California interior valley. There is a Whilst wheat field in Australia; a wheat, barley, corn, and sunflower seed farm in Russia; a grain, soybean and oilseed farm in South America; as God’s people thru-out the world are nourished and blessed by a Family Farmer. Genesis 1:29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. Father most of these farms survive only with minimal resources and only loyal dedicated workers; whom labor long hours from sunrise to sunset. 2 Timothy 2:6 The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. The wife of a farmer and the mother of a obedient child will arise before sunrise to cook nourishment for those who leave early to tend to livestock and to do chores. A child by habit will arise from a bed in a dark room turning on a light to kneel alongside their bed in prayer. This honors a parent who has raised a child with the love of knowing our Lord Jesus personally. They later will tend to their chores as they know in their hearts they have been born into a family that is blessed to be called a Farm Family. James 5: 7 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. Father God I ask for your covering and protection over each member of a Farm Family; and for all those who are dependent upon a farm as it provides a home and an income for all those who labor. I pray for your assurance to be in each of their hearts; that you are alongside them during their times of trials and tribulations. I pray that for those who do not know the love and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus; that they will have open hearts, kneeling and receiving Jesus Christ into their heart. Our God’s precious Son Jesus Christ provides the only means and way that a farmer and all those who surround him to come before our Heavenly Father. Praise the name of Jesus.
