A RECIPE FOR KEITH PAUL (AND OTHER BACON LOVERS) CASSIES APPLE BACON PIE TWO PIE CRUSTS-MAKE YOUR OWN OR USE THE refrigerated kind 6-8 red and green apples 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup white sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Half pack of maple bacon cooked crunchy and crumbled. Mix it all up with a bit of bacon of grease. A dash of lemon juice to pull out the flavor of the apples. If not the bacon is too much. Bake at 375 for 40 min. I am going to make at Christmas. I got this from my daughter who has made it for friends and it is always a big hit!
