A REJOINDER TO FEW YORUBA ETHNIC PROPAGANDISTS I would - TopicsExpress

A REJOINDER TO FEW YORUBA ETHNIC PROPAGANDISTS I would have said permit my literary licence,I am neither a journalist nor a social critic but simply a reactionary writer. Nevertheless, in the process of reacting to issues from divergent points of view, I may find myself in the mesh of critic web. Dont mind me, as in, this is not area of concerns. My apology! Early this morning, I stumbled into a great wrtieup but embellished with ethnologically chauvinistic undetone. Their argument is straight: Ibo pollute the Yorubaland, all Ibos are bad, therefore, all Ibos must be evacuated from Yorubaland. Wow! Just like a bald man in Oyo, makes all men in Oyo bald - fallacy at highest order! This is an injustice done to all Ndigbo indigenes. An injustice done to a tribe is an injustice to all. Let me echo Malcolm X- wrong is wrong, no matter who does it, or says it. Stop this nonsensical post! It will do us more harm than good. It is nauseating, if not revolting to the collective intelligence and sensibility of all Ndigbo both home and diaspora. This act is capable of instigating war of attrition and belligerence against one ethnic or the other. Even neither 50 million of Yoruba people can be on the side of the duplicious nor the wicked with a big chunk so beclouded by ethnic sentiment and gullibility . These intellectually sounded bigots can be ingenuously, rhetorically savvy in their writing but psychologically impairing and polluting the minds of Nigerians against another. Aristotle said in one of his writings that anybody who has knowledge but uses it contrary to justice cannot be regarded as wise but a craftytrickster. No matter the ulterior motive, it can still be achieved without jeopardising the collective intelligence of East. Leave Ndigbo alone!
