A SINCERE THANK YOU TO..........YOU ! YES....YOU . :) Just like you , I enjoy being a part of this community called Facebook. And as you may have noticed , I don`t have a Wife and Kids to flood your Newsfeed with pics. I have no pics of Vacation spots, or of me hanging with friends at a party or bar room. To be a part of this community, I use Facebook as a Forum. A place where I can try to bring a Smile to your face, a chuckle, or even a belly laugh (have you seen me singing?) . And of course , a place where I express MY THOUGHTS and OPINIONS. This week I lost 3 Facebook Friends. Why , is anyone`s guess . Is it my political OPINION ? Was it my OPINION on a Spiritual matter ? Is it my OPINION on Romantic Relationships ? Or is it just MY FACE always on their Newsfeed ? lol Who knows? I`d like to say it doesn`t matter to me, but it does. Most of my FB friends , are friends for a reason. Whether we are Family , went to School together, worked together, dated, or just plain ole` met . I have an interest in YOUR Life ! I`m pretty sure my FB Friends list is more diverse than that of Family members, Church friends,or my friends in the Clergy. I have Friends that are devoted to following Biblical principles , as well as Friends who could care less about that. And EACH one is SPECIAL ! But I must walk a fine line when it comes to FB. I`m often disappointed when I can`t click Like on something a Friend posts , simply because there`s a foul word used. There`s a lot of funny stuff out there that toes the line. When I post my THOUGHTS and OPINIONS , it`s not to convince the reader one way or the other. I try to present things as eye openers. (I probably FAIL at this........my delivery is often harsh :() I like Blue , you like Red , so what ? They are just OPINIONS. I can`t help but wonder , how often YOU the reader, my Friend , have had your finger on the UN-FRIEND button . How often you`ve been offended by something I wrote , or did. So, I`ve waited till this paragraph to say THANK YOU !! If you`ve read this far , then I must mean something to you. THANK YOU for putting up with my absurdness, my he`s got a screw loose..ness, my harshness , my rudeness , or whatever it may be that would turn you off about me. THANK YOU for not necessarily agreeing with me , but for being UNDERSTANDING . Even though I`d be interested to know the reasons these three people un-friended me , how shall I apologize for being ME ? Yes , I do ANTAGONIZE , PROVOKE, and STIR THE POT, on certain subjects, it is certainly NOT my intension to ALIENATE myself . But I do !!!! A FB Friend, who I`ve never met , had some Kind, helpful, words for me in a private message. (Thank You, Friend) I will put those remarks in The Comment Section. And once again, THANK YOU, YES YOU, the reader, for being understanding !! :) --Brians Brain
