Lauren Shay (who is usually ABOVE these things, mind you) tagged me with the meme of telling you six things about myself that you may or may not know. Because of that, you can blame her for all that you are about to read. 1) My girlfriend and I are currently in the process of getting a relationship Visa, so that she can live and work in Australia. When I say process, what I mean is we have been living together for two years, given a chunk of money to the Australian government, and are waiting for them to say, Oh, yeah, you have a real relationship. 2) I almost quit writing a few years back. Thats not so surprising to most, I am sure, but one of the things that helped me through the rough time was that I made the decision to step back from the conversation of writers talking to writers about the work they wrote. 3) I planted an avocado tree today. 4) I run a WoW guild. When I say run what I really mean is, I make sure there arent many people in it so that I dont have to do anything. The guilds name is a suicide reference. 5) When I was a child, I wanted to be a mechanic, and then an inventor. Then I wanted to be a painter. 6) I collect old transformer toys and comics. Yet, my real hobby is to talk to Catriona Sparks about how franchises are creative death and ruin art. You must, as they say, embrace all your contradictions with both arms. Anyhow: You want to do this, drop a number. Or, ask Lauren for a number.
