A STRANGERS LOVE FOR ANOTHERS... I write this letter to my readers, whomever you may be, in hopes that this makes your day just a little better or maybe a lot better. I hope my words give you courage in the storms of life, strength when all the world comes crashing down on you, and the knowledge that someone out there really does care about you. Some of you may laugh at this, saying things like How could someone Ive never met even give a crap about me? but I do... I care for the hurting, the lonely, the forgotten, the weak, the strong, those living without a cause, and those living with a plan. I care for those of you who would laugh at me, and laugh at this letter. Sure, you can brush it aside and say its nothing, but if this letter means nothing to you, than just walk on by and leave it for someone who will love these words, for someone who may find hope or courage... even in the words of an unknown stranger. Life threatens to shake us from our greatest mounts Where we think were safe from all the pain and hatred And when fear grips us by our throats We dont know where to hide Where can we go? Fear takes away your air, your freedom, your every ounce of strength And all you wanna do is break free Why cant I break free? In these days where fear threatens to tear you limb from limb With its razor-sharp lies and endless convulsions of insecurities I hope you B R E A T H E Take a breath, take a breather Take a look deep within yourself! Youre so very beautiful, Dont look at the mistakes youve made because you cant change those Look to the path that lays before you Take a breath, prepare for that dive, that leap of faith Take strength in the knowledge that you are ALIVE And you are alive for a purpose. Whither or not you believe in God or gods, You are ALIVE for a purpose greater than just you So take a breath, just BREATHE Because you can do this, you can fight this... I hope you CRUSH FEAR beneath your feet Turn your world upside down Wash away the tears of pain and the anguish of hatred I hope you get back up again, And I know you can. For those days where all you want to do is cry I hope you find COMFORT in lifes little treasures that surround you... I hope you find COMFORT in a strangers smile I hope you find COMFORT in a childs innocent laugh And more than anything... I hope you find COMFORT in those open arms that are waiting to hold you tight... Life is a monstrous battlefield, surging with the beat of a million hearts War-torn souls cling to the hope of love and peace; For those days where life threatens to swallow you whole I hope you find SANCTUARY from the fury. We all do it. We size ourselves up to the next person. Shes so pretty--why cant I be like her? Why am I so ugly? Adding layers of make-up, trying not to eat, shedding clothes til were barely covered... Hes so cool--why cant I be like that? He gets all the girls, all the power, all the glory... Why doesnt anyone like me? Acting like a fool to impress the careless, playing poker with human lives, judging on looks and and skills... What happens when all those imperfections come back to bite us? We scream at ourselves in the mirror: WHY cant I be like them? Your failures splatter your heart upon the ground And all thats left is this empty shell... When all the world tells you youre so dumb, ugly, and worthless, I hope you take a look in the mirror... See whats beyond those clothes you let others dress you in See whats beyond that mask you decorate yourself with every morning Wipe away the lines youve drawn And see those things you call imperfections... Cause youre SO BEAUTIFUL! Youre so amazing, so wonderful, so powerful, so cool JUST AS YOU ARE! Stop believing these lies the world feeds you Do you really think they care about you? Have you ever noticed their love is never enough? You are PERFECT, just the way you are! ....I hope you BELIEVE in yourself Take a look in the mirror Theres more than just what you see Learn to live FREE of these chains you wear Cause you are perfect JUST THE WAY YOU ARE. When those bullies try to take you down When those giants tell you youre not good enough When those friends tell you you wont amount to anything I hope you have the COURAGE to take a stand. When you see people getting torn down around you When you hear the gossip floating by your ears When you see someone whos hurting I hope you have the COURAGE to take a stand. When all the world tells you your efforts are worthless When people tell you youre too small to make a difference When your teachers tell you its not worth the teasing I hope you have the COURAGE to take a stand. No matter what they say, I KNOW you can make a difference in someones life If you just have the COURAGE to stand. Dont let them beat you down You have the power Now DO SOMETHING with it! For those days when all seems lost... I hope you D R E A M And I hope your dreams SOAR Never loose hope... Dreams give us the strength to go on The hope that tomorrow will be a better day The peace we so desperately seek And dreams give us the chance to LIVE. I hope you D R E A M And I hope your dreams come alive. For those of you that are fallen to your knees I hope you find the REST that you need... Life is so hard on us all Bearing down with an angry fire that never seems to end Burning us alive with every ounce of energy it has In a society that rarely cares... I hope you find REST with those of us who do care Were waiting with open arms Just reach out and we will find you I hope you find the REST you so desperately need... EVERYONE SEEKS LOVE Even those who stand alone seek some sort of love... I have been there, I have walked alone by will And I still sought love in the littlest of ways. Your heart may tell you that you can live without love But you and I both know LOVE is necessary for LIFE... I hope you find LOVE And I hope LOVE finds YOU. I hope you see this letter as a gift of love, But not everyone will... In any case, I hope you find LOVE And I hope your life is FILLED WITH LOVE. And, in these last few lines of this letter... I pray that you find LIFE And in life, I hope you find a REASON to LIVE Because life is more precious than you can ever imagine. In closing thoughts, I just want to say: I may be a stranger to you, or you may know me... You may recognize my words, or you may wonder who I am. You may find this letter as a waste of your time, or you may find it a blessing on your road of life... But, no matter what happens, I hope all these things for you and so much more. I hope you DREAM, I hope you find the time to dance, to live, to break free from all your troubles and fears, and most of all, I hope you find love and the comfort it brings in this broken world. No matter what the world may tell you, there will always be at least one person out there that loves you for who you are, and I dont just mean God. I hope this letter does give you courage and, perhaps, some peace. Feel free to pass this letter on to whomever you choose. These are my hopes for the readers of this letter, but also the hopes for every human being on earth, and even for my enemies.
