A Saviour Luke 2:11 “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” One time in the entire scope of history did God come into the world as a man and a Saviour to die to save us. It should never cease to amaze us that God loved us enough to give His life for our salvation. God’s human creation sinned, lost fellowship, and needed saved. The answer is justification through the blood of God. Jesus was God in the flesh, the one and only perfect sacrifice for sin. If there was no perfect sacrifice there is no salvation. God is the only perfect one; therefore Jesus had to be God. The Bible is clear concerning the deity of Jesus Christ. He said that He and the Father were one. He told Philip that he that hath seen Him (Jesus) hath seen that Father. Paul said He (Jesus) was God manifested in the Flesh. John said He was the First and the Last. And, Isaiah called Him the everlasting Father. I could go on and on; I won’t. Jesus is our Creator, Saviour, and coming King. Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship. Just like marriage is not a religion; it is a relationship. Once you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, work to build a relationship with Him through the Word of God and fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Wilson 5-13-2014
