A Scholarship has been created in LeeAnne’s name at King George Elementary School. It is named the “Eye of the Tiger Memorial Award” which speaks to LeeAnne’s fierce and interminable fight she had for her journey, This scholarship is given to a student(s) that encompass what LeeAnne valued in the kids she taught. Academics and citizenship as well as participation in the arts and sports. An accomplishment for any student and the school year of 2013-2014 produced 6 students at King George. “Team LeeAnne” will strive to participate and produce at least one event each year. 100% of all donations will be put towards the scholarship.
