A Severe Weather Warning for damaging winds for the Snowy Mountains forecast district remains in place. Damaging winds around 50 km/h with peak gusts of 90 km/h are forecast for parts of the Snowy Mountains. Alpine Peaks may experience winds around 70 km/h with peak gusts around 110 km/h. There is also a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for damaging wind for people in the Central West Slopes and Plains, South West Slopes and parts of the Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, North West Slopes and Plains, Riverina, Lower Western and Upper Western Forecast Districts.
