A St. Johns city councillor says Harvey and Company has been told to cover up its salt pile. People who live in the downtown area of the Battery complained last weekend that salt had blown all over their homes and vehicles. Jonathan Galgay says inspectors had a look, and have determined there are violations of the anti-littering bylaw. Galgay says the company is cooperating. It will be asked to meet with the city to discuss long-term solutions.
