A Student is looking for opinions: What is the general opinion of Midwives towards schooling? Should us aspiring apprentices seek schooling such as MCU or IHM? or should we attempt to find a situation with a birthing center or midwife who will take on a green apprentice and have a heavy hand in our growth into becoming a CPM? Silly question I know... but maybe not, where is the best place to start? I know that the Apprenticeship programs have been getting a lot of notice lately (look at RCM guid and toolkit). Have I been misinformed, or is it possible to go straight into an apprenticeship? I think I would prefer that, just me personally
