A Sure WORD: “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life”. Pro 4:23 I used to watch movies a lot. I mean a lot of movies. It was a way for to me to relax. I am not going to say do not go to movies. Or tell you what you should do with regard to going to movies. I am not the Holy Spirit. The reason that I am bring this issue to the forefront, and some may not call it an issue at all, is that I see things in the movies that I have watched years ago as the Lord brings them to my mind. The reason for this is that the Lord is teaching me on how the enmity works in this area. With things that may have been said or even with different scenes within the movie. For an example: A few years ago a movie came out called Spiderman. Some of you may not be into that, many of you being women, and that is ok. You may have watched it with your husband or boyfriend just so that you may be with him. You may also have watched that movie because you too like those types of movies. In this movie there is a seen when Osborn is talking to the Green Goblin after finding out who Spiderman was. Osborn was not sure what or how to attack or if he even really wanted to. Yet the enmity of Spiderman had a plan and that was to first and foremost to attack Spiderman’s heart. He was to do this by going for his “loved one(s)”. The enmity went for the heart! Now with that said, I have been thinking on the heart a lot. Now do not get me wrong I have thought about it before over the years yet it is very much on my mind this past year. As I have been watching people at ASU and people just in general, like at work, for an example. I have seen what is coming out of the heart for their lips are conveying what is inside of their heart. It is like a plague that is at an epidemic level! The poison toxicity of this spreads by way of stimulating the appetite of the flesh by way of entering the ear gate and eye gate or even both at times. It slowly begins to take root and its action is to desensitize the mind by a process of scaring the mind in such a way that it begins to have no conscious with regard to its actions. The word heart in its Hebrew root form is used over 80 times in the book of Proverbs! I have made a choice to begin to post these on F.B. so that we all may learn on how to (Keep) our heart and what a sick heart may even look like compared to a health heart. How is your heart today? Is it sick? Or is it healthy? What are you feeding your heart today? Are you fighting to keep it safe from Satan? There is a well of life that is to come from the heart. However, if that life well has poison in it then it is no longer one that brings life to others but death. You can tell what is in your heart and you can tell what is in other people’s heart just sit and listen. So what is in your heart today? And are you KEEPING it safe.
