We are God designed For we are Gods [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. (ephisians 2 v10) This is one of the greatest truth of all; that we are destined for great (good) works which God predestined us to walk in. I have for many years really tried and even prayed that I might do great things. I later on discovered that Christianity is not really about my strength but more of receiving ( adhering,trusting) what God has done, is doing and will do. Such a state of life allows us to praise him more than praying for what we have already been given freely. It allows a greater manifestation of his glory from our lives. Its plain from the above potion that in desiring good things from us God did not arm twist us but rather recreated us into such a nature that can walk in his pleasure. It reminds me of the time Jeremiah(18v3-6) went to a potter and God showed him how clay was worked. The Lord asked him if he had no right to do as the potter did ( working on the clay as he wished) : indeed God is the potter and we are his handiwork and he has restructured,rebuilt us so as to be great vessels who can walk in his set path. Galations 2:20 testifies Of our new life: (NET) I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. We are recreated and because Christ was faithful now we live this life differently than when we were not born again. Praise to God!!! (elijahmatanhire@gmail)
