A TOUCHING TRUE LIFE STORY Edafe Fejiro came from a very poor home. A girl who considered education as a legacy. Her father died when she was just 6. She lived along with her 3 younger siblings in a single room with her mother. She had to hawk orange after school hours to be able to raise her school fees and feeding money for the house. Finally she took her WAEC and was succesful. It was now time to sought for a higer Education. She managed to gather money and purchased a JAMB form. Unfortunately, she was unsuccesful because of excessive thinking. There was no money to buy another form the following year. A year later, she was able to gather some money, so she bought and sat for another JAMB. This time, she was successful. She got admission into UNIBEN to study Accounting. She managed to raise fund from the streets and her sales to pay her fees. In her second year she was on scholarship, the struggles had reduced a bit. She was the only hope for her family. She really took her studies seriously. She came out the best graduating student on her convocation, due to this, she was offered an instant job by a company that same day. The job was to earn for her a sum of N450,000 monthly. A day after her convocation, she embarked on a journey back to Delta state to spread the good news to her people. On the way, she got invovled in a fatal accident which took her life. All the ambitions and hope for the family died.
