A Tribute to my Best Friend Rich Bigger When I started working - TopicsExpress

A Tribute to my Best Friend Rich Bigger When I started working at McGraw-Hill, I was fortunate and blessed to have Rich Bigger as my manager. Rich became a father figure to me. He was my mentor, my confidant and a once in a lifetime best friend. Over the past 18 years, Rich and I spoke several times a week. I used to joke that when I grew up I wanted to be just like Rich Bigger. Rich was everything that I wanted to be. He was the most positive person I have ever met. He always had something nice to say about everybody. Rich always treated people with the greatest respect. He truly lived his life by following the golden rule. People were drawn to him and they could truly see the love of Jesus in him. Rich loved life and he loved to laugh. The last time that I saw Rich was in May when I drove down to spend time with him and his wife Karen in Greenville. We spent hours reminiscing and laughing about all the great times we had. Karen even shared the story of how she and Rich met, fell in love and married. When I left Greenville, I didn’t know that would be the final time I would see my great friend. I know that Rich is in heaven with Jesus. I have great comfort knowing that he is in the best place. Rich left us with such great memories and the knowledge that we had an opportunity to know one of God’s very special people. He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
