A US Navy submarine veteran purchased product on our Minnesota Navy League website this past weekend. This veteran does not live in Minnesota. These items were meant for his cousin as a Christmas gift, living here in Richfield, MN. Turns out, I was able to be witness to a story about the true meaning of Christmas. The US Navy veteran served 30 years, and his cousin followed his career with interest during this time. His cousin is totally disabled, unable to serve. Im so impressed that this US Navy veteran never forgot about his cousin, maintained contact for all these years, and was so thoughtful that he provided gifts from our boat to his cousin. This cousin will now wear a shirt, ball cap, patch, and have a collectible commissioning book, and represent USS Minnesota with pride. Yesterday I delivered the product in order to make it in time. Unfortunately, I was not able to meet the cousin. But all I can say is wow, and what a privelidge to play a small part in this. Hooyah US Navy veterans.
