The Bible says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). God will use you as a vessel of consolation to such an extent that you will wonder, “Has the Lord transformed me, a stony-hearted person?” The Lord says, “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh” (Ezekiel 11:19). Indeed, when the Lord of Comfort descends upon you, He shall transform you as a vessel of consolation who would do good to others. Dearly beloved in Christ, your life shall never go in vain. The Lord has not called you for an empty and useless life but with a definite purpose. He will certainly comfort you in every way. He shall grant you the priceless treasure of His Holy Spirit who is the Comforter and use you mightily as a vessel of consolation. When you seek Him both individually and as a family, He shall fill you with His anointing and goodness. He shall also transform you as a mighty vessel- a vessel of consolation and a vessel of honour. He shall grant you His perfect and abundant blessing (Proverbs 28:20). May the Lord grant you His goodness in everyway and satisfy you. The Scripture says, “But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us” (2 Corinthians 7:6). Our God is the God of all comfort. He will comfort you in times of sorrow and deliver you from your problems. He will make you a vessel of comfort to others. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus, When I am faced with the storms of life, please grant me the consolation that I need and in turn make me a source of comfort to those who are battling with similar predicaments. In Your immense grace and mercy fill me with Your goodness that I may trust You for everything during my sojourn on this earth. Please favour me with Your love and kindness and that is enough for me. In Your matchless name I pray. Amen. ----
