[A WEEK NOTE SPECIAL] EBOLA BLOOD: A DISTURBING TRENDING EMERGING VAMPIRE NATIONS? MYTH OR REALITY......!!! BLACK MARKET BLOOD NOW SOLD IN THE MARKET FROM RECOVERED EBOLA PATIENTS WHICH MAY HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF TURNING INFECTED INDIVIDUALS INTO VAMPIRES GOING AFTER THE SOURCE. AN ALARM EVOLVING SCENARIOS THAT CAN LEAD TO INSTABILITY.......! A black market for an Ebola treatment derived from the blood of survivors is emerging in the West African countries experiencing the worst outbreak of the virus on record, the World Health Organization said. The United Nations health agency will work with governments to stamp out the illicit trade in convalescent serum, WHO Director-General Margaret Chan told reporters today in Geneva, where the organization is based. There is a danger that such serums could contain other infections and wouldn’t be administered properly, Chan said. The WHO is encouraging the use of properly obtained serum to treat current patients and said last week it should be a priority. A third U.S. missionary worker who was infected with Ebola in Liberia and flown to the U.S. for medical care was treated with blood transfusions from another American who recovered from the virus last month. Doctors hope the virus-fighting antibodies in the blood help the 51-year-old physician, Rick Sacra. [AS I SEE IT] PRESENT STRATEGIES BEEN APPLIED BY HIGHLY INFECTED COUNTRIES SEEMS NOT TO BE EFFECTIVE TO CONTAIN THE EBOLA SPREAD AS IT UPSURGES INTO ALARMING DIMENSION. The realisation must be very clear that it is going to get even worst at this pace before it can get better losing many lives for lack of a constructive EBOLA PLANNING STRATEGY. The security men and women, field, task force personnel and local volunteers are totally ill equipped to fight the epidemic and its unprecedented danger the Ebola poses. There is a dramatic multiplying effect of the virus on the increase creating a state of traumas, panic and fear in the populace which can lead to diminish responsibility rather than a semblance of containment bringing hope. Past recommendations for isolation of the patient which seems to be common pattern in a plastic isolator have given way to the more moderate recommendation of strict barrier isolation with body fluid precautions. This presents no excess risk to the hospital personnel and allows substantially better patient care. Currently the main concern in the prevention and control of the disease is to interrupt any person-to-person contacts between those suffering from the disease and those who are free of it. This may be very difficult, especially during a large outbreak of the disease when hospitals are over-taxed and sick or dying patients are on the streets. The main consideration of those who are well is to avoid contact with blood or other body fluids from those who are ill; use of a protective mask and even clothing might also be necessary if the virus appears to be airborne. Did governments of the highly infected countries such as Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea acted too late into been proactive rather waiting for the epidemic to germinate from lack of foresight then going into reactive mode without proper standardised emergency planning, professional human resource capacity, proper vital health care system. Now paying the price for been complacent and lackadaisical to the warnings and red flag signals or just falling short of the peoples expectations to protect them in times of an emergency crisis......!!! THE GOOD NEWS NOT PROMOTED: It is scientific knowledge that deadly, natural Ebola is rapidly killed by sunlight which Africa has and especially West africa just under the equator which is maybe forestalling a more devastating spread and effect hovering between 20 to 35 degrees and up to 58 degrees in the North. This makes it less than ideal for biological warfare has been presume by many school of thoughts. However the variant of Ebola called the Marburg virus was developed by the Soviets and it may be that this strain is more hardy. Too, work has been done by the Soviets in transferring parts of the Ebola virus into the composition of Smallpox and other diseases. If such experiments succeed, then such a strain might be suitable for terrorism. More knowledged needed on this aspect since Africa is now grappling with its war on TERRORISM FROM North, Central, West, and East in all axis. There is also a potential for dead infected EBOLA PERSONS bodies can be used as a weapon to infect others, officials, dignitaries and diplomats The Ebola virus burst from obscurity late this century with spectacular outbreaks of severe, hemorrhagic fever. The first outbreak in Zaire resulted in 318 cases with a fatality rate of 90 percent; later it caused 150 deaths out of 250 cases in Sudan. Smaller outbreaks have continued in Africa with scientists unsure what the animal vector of the disease is - or even if there is one. IS THE UPSURGE IMPACT OF THE EBOLA EPIDEMIC SETTING STAGE IN WEST AFRICA WHERE HUMANS WILL START ATTACKING EACH OTHER, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HAVE RECOVERED BEEN USED FOR BLACK MARKET BLOOD MONEY RACKETEERING, OR OTHER MORE VIOLENT VICTIMS RESORTING TO ANCIENT MEANS SUCH AS THE STYLE OF A VAMPIRE TO FORCEFULLY TAKE OR SUCK THE BLOOD OF A POTENTIAL SOURCE OF LIFE CURE A FELLOW HUMAN......Nothing is ever impossible in the 21st century unfolding critical events and challenges [By Syl Juxon Smith]
