A WINNING WEEKEND OUTLOOK: BOTH DAYS SUNNY, DRY, AND SEASONABLE...80s RETURN NEXT WEEK A marvelous end to May on Saturday, and a jubilant start to June on Sunday as both weekend days feature mostly sunny skies...both days are dry...and both days are close to seasonable in terms of our temps. Id give the nod to Sunday over Saturday as the pick day of the weekend, as Saturday will be partly to mostly sunny, while Sunday is just plain sunny with hardly a cloud in the sky. While Saturday looks nice, an ocean breeze increases by afternoon at the shore, which will make things a touch on the cool/brisk side at the beaches. With high pressure right over head on Sunday, winds will be light and it will feel a bit warmer. So Saturday good, but Sunday great. The specifics: SATURDAY: Partly to mostly sunny skies, with highs in the mid to upper 60s at the shore, closer to 75 on the mainland. North winds around 10mph through the morning will shift onshore from the east and increase to 10-20mph during the afternoon. So a bit cool/brisk at the beach later in the day, but still a nice start to the weekend and end to May! SUNDAY: Tons of sun, lighter winds, and continued seasonably mild temps. Highs in the mid 70s again on the mainland, and with less of an ocean breeze, we should crack the low 70s at the shore. A light north wind in the morning at 5-10mph shifts onshore from the southeast in the afternoon, but remains light.
