From the previous message, holy spirit has enlightened us that, if we will not end up to be a carnal and wordly christian, there is a work we must create time to do. It is a work we must do before we can be a genuine child and also work for God. I have seen many children of God living a miserable christian life. Some are even living based on what seems right to them, disregarding Gods perfect will for them. But, if careful observation is made, you would discover that such thing is not just happening, it is happening due to some things not put in place. At times, i simpathize when i see fellow brethren living a miserable life, a life totally contrary to what God has destined for them. But the fact is that, some are adapted to that miserable life, infact, they are pleased with such life, and they are never wanting to understand that, such life is due to some things they failed to do. This kind of people are those who mock the word of God and render it uneffective in their life, by their proud attitude towards the word of God, hence they continue to live a miserable christian life. The second type of christians who live a miserable life are those who are aware that they are living below Gods standard. But instead for them to WATCH and PRAY and then allow Holy Spirit to make the neccessary amendments, they will keep giving ungenuine excuses, which God will not accept. However, Gods aim for these two set of christians, under the same category is that, they need to do a work which will place them rightly with the Lord. Some christians cannot understand God today, not because God is hard to understand, but because something is wrong with them. Beloved, as long as you walk with the Lord with blind or closed eyes, to understand him will be impossible. Also, when you journey with the Lord with a deaf and closed ears, there is no way you would have understood him. Do you know why understanding God is so hard for you? It is because, you do not have eyes that can see him, neither ears that can hear him. The aim of Jesus over his disciples is to make them his follower which he can rely on. But if you observe judas iscariot, one thing that make him die prematurely is because, his aim is not corresponding with that of Jesus for him. Now, how will your aim correlate the aim of Jesus for you, when you do not have eyes that can see him, nor ears that can hear him? How do you expect a deaf and blind man to understand anyone around him? Even when everyone is ready to understand him, can he understand anyone? Beloved, the year is about to end, and a new year is about to start. Will you still continue with this miserable life you are living? Or do you not know that, the miserable life you are living is due to your inability to understand God? God wants to bring something extraordinary out of your life provided you are ready to do a work that will qualify you for his work. May the Lords understanding overwhelm your heart. Amen.
