A Worthy Cause for a very generous memeber of our community! Hello Dear Family and Friends, As many of you know, 5 years ago I started this small project called the SOL Food Festival. It was created as a response to a need that I saw in the greater Santa Barbara Community and world, that of re-connecting to the source of life, our food. Back in 2009 I participated in a 3 month course called, The Self Expression and Leadership Program offered through Landmark education. It was during this time that the concept of SOL Food came to me as an expression of my gift to the community. This project has been one that has challenged me beyond what I thought I could do and has shown me the true power of Community being able to make a difference. This event is about our food, our family, our planet, and our home. It is about making the changes that will ensure a world where our descendants have what they need, and that the fruits of our labor continue to seed. I am reaching out to you now to ask for your assistance in making this event possible. We need your help to make SOL Food happen again this year.
