A beautiful day at beach took a frightening turn for a father, his 4 year old son and 6 year old daughter. The man was trying to swimming across deep water, in an effort to reach a sand bar, while each child held on to their fathers shoulders. Half way across he started screaming for help. Jeff, who had already noticed the struggle, and another stranger, jumped into action to rescue the family. They arrived just when the man started going under. It was a terrifying few moments until they were all safely back on the beach. HUGE shout out to my hero and husband Jeff Adams for helping these perfect strangers. AND, HUGE shout out to my daughter Lauren Nicole Mallory who was ready and prepared to perform CPR (thank god it was not needed)!!
