A bicycle ride to record video and photos of developing showers and storms in the distance turned more interesting today as a storm blew up right on top of me and left me with no choice but to wait it out under some thick brush and trees. Now, Im been in countless storms during my lifetime, but this is the first time Ive ever been IN a storm... if ya know what I mean. LOL. It was an interesting experience, but hey, sometimes things happen. My tripod bag is a total loss, but my camera and shoes stayed dry. I felt like a mother goose protecting her egg with that camera bag. Probably should have taken my umbrella. That was my original feeling. Haha oh well. We got some beneficial rainfall, and I saw some cool stuff. Including frogs hopping across the road toward me, a flock of Sandhill Cranes, and a deer in the field. Thanks for teasing me all day long, nature, and then pulling a fast one on me. As Jack Thunderhead Corso might say, The Boyz won this round!
