A big GT donut today. Zero fish in spite of a thousand casts! Just a couple of spectacular but half-hearted attempts by solid fish... but still, Mt Isa lads Terry and Cody were happy with a short intermission using sps on mid-size fingermark (50-60cm) before again chasing inshore GTs on poppers and stick baits. The lads tried hard, the fish were there but they just werent in the mood. Looking at the tides though, Im hardly surprised. And its difficult enough to secure a park at Townsvilles Coastguard ramp at the best of times! Check the bus - and the bloke parked to the left should check his trailer. I watched the bus try and mount the trailer as it squeezed into the space...
