A big rally in NYC of a group called Moms Demand Action on guns. Ostensibly NYC mothers. Who, incidentally, as a matter of cultural diction, almost never spontaneously refer to themselves as a group as moms. (The idiom would be New York Mothers Demand Action.) A truly grassroots group of NYC/borough moms would be very unlikely to be this vastly disproportionately white or look (see far right) this DC/suburban. The group is funded by Bloomberg. Also incidentally, no one got arrested, beaten up, groped or threatened in this big rally.
