A big thank you goes out to the General Federation of Women’s Clubs/Florida and the General Federation of Women’s Club/Georgia Juniors for their generous support of the Southeast Region of Canine Companions. This past Saturday, Margo and her Successor Service Dog Joss, attended the GFWC/Georgia Juniors to accept their donation from Director Sandra Huey totaling more than $25,000. At the same time in Florida, Betty and her Successor Service Dog Eston, attended the GFWC/Florida Spring Convention in Orlando and spoke at the Looking Ahead session where Carole Weaver, the incoming president, announced Canine Companions as her president’s project for the next two years. We would like to thank both of these clubs and all of the GFWC members who are making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
