A big thank you to all of my beautiful friends and family who sent me birthday wishes! I am back in the land of the living having survived India! I came home quite sick and got sicker before i got better. My natural healing therapist and my GP agree ( which is interesting) hat i have had and am still healing from 3 types of giardia, liver flukes, amoebic dysentery and ( wait for it ) anthrax bacilis. Apparently way before anthrax was a weapon of mass destruction, it was a (mere) case of intestinal poisoning due to water contamination. (sheep shit: charming) On the plus side , they dysentary diet has been the most successful weight loss program since the who gets custody of the kids diet! Still I am glad i did it cuz it was the most extraordinary adventure, challenging comfort levels, acceptance, self control. Sleeping on a board with a 2 inch foam mattress, getting up at 4 am, eating what, when and how much you were told to eat (before poisoning: after that I just didnt eat) a bomb blast 20 kilometers away that killed 5 people ( while the world yoga conferance was happening with 22,000 delegates. Yes altogether a rather trippy experience!!
