A bit current tad of 6th and a new tad of 7th March 2014 blog - I stare at the ceiling fan, it was going round and round and round and round and round and.....? yes, round and . . . .it is fantastic, who invented fan ? Isnt Google great ? It says - The cool fan was invented in 1882 by Schuyler Skaats Wheeler. A few years later, Philip Diehl mounted a fan blade on a sewing machine motor and attached it to the ceiling, inventing the ceiling fan, which he patented in 1887. Gee, it was not even mentioned in my PAST PAST PAST history book. . . and most of the GREAT inventions these days, being used by humans, have forgotten about the inventors. All only remembered Albert Einstein... :P Isnt Wikipedia great ? If one complains there is nothing interesting to read from the web, I dont know what is. Google and Wiki inventors. :) - kathryna
