Hi all, to old friends and new. I got tired of being stealth as an educator, so i asked for what i needed. I got a no. And its a good thing I did! Check out what we are forming in Atlanta, GA if you havent heard about us already. We plan to launch independent, nonprofit, PreK-12 Pride School Atlanta by August 2015, which means we are accepting student and educator applications soon. From what i know, its the first school of its kind, where LGBTQQIA educators, students, and families come together to form a community of learners and so much more. Lifesavers, yes, lifesavers is what theyll become. And instead of just welcoming LGBTQQIA folks (A for Allies this time), we will be affirming folks and exploring identity as it forms in us, around us, through us and the many identities we possess throughout our lives.
