A bit of a follow on from Jess s post... in regards to sand, does any one have scientifically backed up evidence of feeds that reduce/move sand from the gut. I have a horse that I will not drench due to medical issues that risk his life and he wont eat psyllium husk... and even so the research done suggests it is not actually as useful as its reputation suggests. I already feed as much hay as he can eat as well as sweetbulk and copra but I am a bit iffy on him having molasses regularly. Not looking for old wives tales or milk and honey recipes. I am waiting on a callback from a vet regarding it but looking for other ideas to present him
