A boy is dead (sad but true), a man was arrested and charged. He posted bail, was afforded the right to a competent defense. Was tried by a jury of his peers. The prosecution and defense were both afforded opportunities to present evidence and testimony to the jury. The jury was given instructions by the judge. The jury deliberated the facts that were presented to them. They made a decision based on those facts. That is the American Justice System. Seems to me that it worked just like it was supposed to.
