A brutal 93 degree day here in Nashville is making it very difficult for our canine friends downtown. En route to run an errand, I detoured to drop in on our homeless friends........... it was just as miserable as I thought it would be. They are sitting in the shade, but that doesnt offer much relief. There isnt anywhere that they can bring their dogs inside. I dropped off some reusable filtered water bottles that I picked up on my way, and some cooling towels. I ordered the Mushers Wax for them, but it wont be here til later this week. I will be purchasing some cooling mats tomorrow to help these guys beat the heat. If you would like to help our friends COOL DOWN, the link to donate is in the first comment. On a side note, Bubba is settling in with his new family just fine. He will begin his heartworm treatment this week. Glory is in her foster home, and will be starting her treatment this week as well. The Florida 11 are happy and healthy, and making progress. And Scout....... is keeping Aimee on her toes as usual. I hope youre all having a great weekend.
