A buddy of mine got the Heroes of Normandie Kickstarter, complete with DUST and Achtung Cthulhu. It is a LOT of fun, so if you get a chance snag it, though those two expansions were KS exclusives. We have had fun mixing some Dust units in with the regular troops and it makes me glad to see some of the more conventional troops were seeing in Babylon. I like the Weird part of Weird War II, but without the World War II part, why bother setting it there? While you all see me one here calling for the former (contractually obligated insertion of the word Konigswotan and a call for more apes), I do hope the latter keeps coming, too. As such, some things Id like to see: Allies: US/Allied Army Solider 1s like in the art from the comics with M2 assault rifles and BARs, etc. .30 cal machine gun teams. Bazooka teams. Dustified tanks and transports. Axis: More Soldier 1 and 2 infantry. We have the lions share of walker love, more infantry would be cool. Tripod MG teams, alternate Soldier 2 command squads, and Soldier 2 double MG squads (Iron Vipers?) come to mind. Also, Dustified Tanks. SSU: AK infantry besides the Spetznatz, in Soldier 1 and 2. Infantry with captured Panzerfausts. More Chinese, as the SSU is way more Soviet than Sino so far. Chinese with auto Mauser pistols in Soldier 2 would be awesome. Id love to see the artillery tractor get a variant with the GAZ AA trucks quad Maxim machine guns on it. And for all of them, I was very surprised none of the Babylon stuff included Soldier 1 Snipers. The Axis one would be a slightly cheaper version of the original, while the Marine one could have the sniper carry an back up .45 pistol and his partner carry an SMG. Just some thoughts. Im also thinking of making some Dust versions of Heroes of Nomandies heroes... Ill keep you posted.
