A busy afternoon in my backyard veggie patch today. The new trellis were put in place for the Seven Year Highworth Beans and Crowdu Butter Peas today. I replenished the pea straw around the patches and placed pea straw around my germinated seeds. I gave all patches a good dose of dynamic lifter. Also a good water with diluted worm wee from the recycled fridge worm farm. Hopefully now with the pea straw in place the plants will be able to handle the hot weather a bit better. What chores did you get done in your backyard this weekend?
