A conference dubbed Invest in Tunisia Start-up Democracy has opened in the capital Tunis with the participation of foreign delegations, international banks and financial institutions. Authorities are planning to convince the country’s main economic partners to finance public and private projects in Tunisia. Speakers stressed the need for solid partnership between Tunisia and foreign donors.Analysts explain that the success of the Tunisian economic, social and political model will guarantee the stability of North Africa and prevent a security crisis in the whole region. Developed by the office of the Prime Minister, the Invest in Tunisia program prepares the ground for reform to the next elected government. It is based on four strategic pillars: control of public spending and initiation of structural reforms, revival of growth and employment, regional development and solidarity as well as social inclusion.
