A conversation with coworkers about Mardi Gras and Ash Wednesday. I dont know much about the holidays and I was asking questions about them. Coworker 1: Why dont you know this, didnt your momma ever take you to church? Me: No, going to church wasnt something that my family did. Coworker 1: Really? Well why dont you go now? Me: I smile and say Its because Im actually an atheist. Coworker 1: *long pause* No youre not. Me:Yes... I am. Coworker 1: Hey (coworker 2), Ashlee THINKS shes an ATHEIST!
