A copy of feedback just posted on Virgin Australias facebook page! AMAZING Service received TODAY! Hi Virgin, Today I need to commend you on your amazing staff! My Mother and Step father flew with you from Melbourne to Sydney this morning to connect with the Celebrity Cruise Ship for a Cruising Holiday. Upon reaching Sydney and trying to board the cruise ship, they realised they didnt have my Step Fathers Passport.... It was still in MELBOURNE! The ship was departing Sydney at 5pm TONIGHT and we had been given a check in time of the latest by 4pm for the cruise ship! I drove over 1.5 hours, to pick up the passport from their house and drive it to the airport. I entered your terminal in Melbourne, walked up to the counter and asked for a Supervisor... Two wonderful women stepped forward advising they were both supervisors. I explained the situation and asked if it was possible to get the passport on your 1pm flight from Melbourne to Sydney... Please note this flight was ALREADY BOARDING! These supervisors were AMAZING (I really wish I had grabbed their names), one called down to the plane to see what they could do and the other was trying to calm me down and was just so caring! After we received approval, I ran to the gate and met another wonderful Virgin Team Member Tanith! I handed over the passport with all my mothers and step fathers contact details. Tanith provided me with the Gate Number, Flight Number and Arrival Time. My Step Father picked up the passport at the Gate in Sydney, jumped in a Taxi and made it back to the Cruise Ship in time! We cant thank you enough for your wonderful and caring staff members that went above and beyond in servicing your customers needs. My Mother and Step Father are now aboard the ship enjoying their holiday due to all of these wonderful staff members that made it happen! We will be sharing this experience with all of our friends and family as we are just SO IMPRESSED with the service we received! Thank you! Thank you!
