A couple days ago, I went to the cemetery where Brendan was - TopicsExpress

A couple days ago, I went to the cemetery where Brendan was buried. He happens to be near where my grandfather is buried so I looked for his grave. I was not sure exactly where he was buried but I found a fresh grave with nothing on the gravestone. After I was done, I went over by that grave and I stood next to it. What happens next is what I believe to be transcending and unbelievable. As I inhaled, there was this distinct smell that I cannot simply describe. Im sure it wasnt death itself. Then suddenly, I felt this presence around me and inside me which made me believe that the grave was Brendans. It felt like he was beside me. As a test, I walked away and I went back and I had that same feeling. Even though I didnt know Brendan, this proves that he had an impact on everyone, and I mean everyone he touched and he is watching over us. I, myself, cannot describe that feeling I had while standing besides that grave not knowing who was buried or where Brendan was buried. Brendan may be dead but he will live on for sure with all of us and Brendan knows we will do our best to do so. No matter what happens, no 19-year old should be taken so soon, with so much to offer and benefit the world. Rest peacefully Brendan. Youll be missed by all, buddy, acquaintance, classmate, that guy I saw in the halls always playing the bagpipes at events. A week and a half later and Im still in shock... May a perpetual light shine upon him and that he continues to look over us and guide us, especially his family, Michaela Tevlin and Brian Tevlin, and relatives through this tragedy
