A couple months ago an issue of the National Geographic mag featured an article about Mt. Everest. Hundreds of people now climb that beast daily. Once nearing the peak, climbers wait for hours in a line for their opportunity to stand on top and take photos and view the world from there. All along the trail leading to the summit climbers can see all the trash left behind those that came before them, corpses of people who died making the climb or descent and growing piles of frozen poop. Fun, eh?
