A couple of days ago VICE released this short documentary I spent a couple months editing about Gia Coppola making her first film, Palo Alto in collaboration with James Franco. Gias mother shot over 75 hours of footage capturing the entire process from pre production to wrap and out of that mountain of footage we carved this film. I had a lot of fun telling the story of how a film gets made in a way I always wanted to see it. Thanks to @poorspirits for providing the majority of music for the film.
