A couple of months ago, I heard an interview on NPR with the co-founder of MoveOn.org and the co-founder of the National Tea Party. They were talking about their new joint initiative where they each invite three friends from their political circle to come together to talk about issues over snacks and beverages. What they discovered is that they could actually come to a consensus on a lot of things that surprised them all. I applaud their bravery and I hope to spread that along. Loves, lets start in our on backyards to do the same thing. Organize something at your church, community centers, libraries, parks, coffee shops, anywhere! Use social media to let us know how it turned out rather than using it to have these important conversations (rants) with people youll never see and people wholl never respond. Or better yet, posting things that, whether you know it or not, truly insults some of your so-called friends. Dare to have an old-fashioned conversation, Loves. Big hugs to everyone!
